Veggies in the garden.

Here is the veggie garden and grass today. My parents have grown fruits and veggies for our family all my life and even before my life. It is such a delight to have to space for my own garden now. And with the help of my parents everything is growing in perfect.


Bell Peppers. I planted one green bell plant and one yellow bell plant.


Heirloom tomatoes. My absolute favorite. I love the mini heirloom too.


Roma tomatoes. These are easy to grow ... thats why the market has them so cheep.


These are the beginnings of a white pumpkin plant and two black zucchini. Tucked inside a homemade planter box ... thanks Pop.

Veggie Garden

We started a veggie garden in our little backyard. That was over a month ago ... I've been meaning to post these pictures. But lucky for you, you get the before and after in one day. Well, the midway point because nothing is ready to be picked just yet.

Meet Knox.

Our new puppy. He is an 11 week old Teacup Maltese. He only weighs 1.4 pounds and when he is full grown he will be around 3.5 pounds. We LOVE him.

My New Sewing Room.

As you can see from the top photo ... I have a pile o projects I'm working on. Hence the reason this blog has been pretty lonely lately. We moved into a two bedroom house a few months back ... so until we start planning for a little one ... I get a sewing ROOM. I attempted to take some photos of the room ... but I could only get close up photos to come out decent.

Pleated Clutch.

A new design for my etsy shop. A clutch with a pleat. It is perfect for those few things you need for a night out. Made with wool for the outside and lined with satin.

Scoodie ... part scarf. part hoodie.

Its a hoodie with a scarf attached. Made with corduroy and faux fir. I just traced my favorite hoodie in my closet and attached the long strips for the scarf. I'm gonna try and add a pocket to the scarf on the next batch.

Labor of Love.

I made these dolls for our nieces for Christmas ... and they fell in love. It will be the gift that keeps on giving because the pattern came with a few outfits to make. I got the pattern from the Wee Wonderfuls shop.

Christmas Colors.

One of our traditions is to choose a color theme for our tinsel tree and presents. Once we have little ones ... we will probably get a real tree and fill it with ornaments made by them and their cute little faces in Santa frames. Until then our decor is art. Here are the colors from last year. Happy Holiday.

My First Booth.

I had a great time at the Roller Derby. I forgot my light ... so I had this makeshift spotlight clipped onto a dollie. It was very bright in everyones face and shadowed a lot of the things for sale. But sometimes all you can do is laugh at yourself and just go with it. I still managed to sell a little.

Trial and Error.

I am going to be setting up a booth at a few shows ... so here is what my set up is gonna look like ... well kinda. There are few small things that still need work and ... today my pop and I are making a mini coat rack for my purses.
